The Plants

Our tree peonies are mainly 3-4 years old original plants with at least 8 stems each; herbaceous peonies are 2-3 years old mainly with 10 eyes each, we make divisions (such as 2-3 stems or 4-5stems etc) according to customer’s requirements (some varieties are difficult to divide, then we just provide original plants).  We also provide some 2-3 years old graftings of tree peonies and 5-8 years old original plants. Normally, the roots from 3 years old plant are more vigorous than the matured plant, and the survival rate are also higher than the matured one

All peonies we offer, Chinese tree peony, herbaceous peony, rockii hybrid and Japanese tree peony are strictly produced according to our production standard: Q/CPSJM 001-2004, Q/CPSJM002-2004, Q/CPSJM003-2004 and Q/CPSJM004-2004. All bareroot peonies we provide for exporting are carefully selected and meet all import requirements.

Products specification

All our Chinese tree peonies including division (3-4 years old), grafting (2-3 years old) and original plants (mainly 5-8 years old) are with multiple branching stems, full buds and vigorous roots. The height of mature tree peony plants (5-8 years old) is as follows – Tall, over 80cm; Middle, 50-80cm; Dwarf: below 50cm.
Our herbaceous peonies are 2-3 years old with full buds and vigorous roots.
Our Rockii hybrids are 6-8 years old seedlings sold by colors.
Our Japanese tree peonies are 2-3 years old grafts propagated in our nursery.

The process of treating plants

Dig plants out — wash clear — make the plants some little dry — select eligible plants  — sterilizing the plants — package with moss and plastic — load into paper box — send to cool room — load to the cool container.

Price

Wholesale price:

Our catalog provides a wholesale price based on 10000 plants in USD for FOB at the Tianjin Xingang port in China. The prices are based on present conditions and are subject to change without notice. For customers who buy peonies at retail price in the first year, and at wholesale price in the second year, we would refund price difference between retail price and wholesale price of the first year order.

Retail price:

We mainly deal with wholesalers, so we don’t provide retail price separately. Retail price would increase based on wholesale price.

Discount:

We will offer some discount according to your previous order. Meanwhile, orders placed before June 15th, and order quantity range between 5000 and 10000 plants, wholesale price will be offered. For orders more than a 20ft container or less 5000 plants, discount should be negotiated by both sides.

Order Instruction

If you intend to order, but are not familiar with our peonies, we would like to supply free samples for your test planting, if you would like to cover shipping and phytosanitary certificate cost. We will deduct costs involved in samples from your following big order. This preference is only available to wholesalers, please contact us for details.

Minimum order:

We deal mainly with wholesalers. We don’t set minimum order, but the unit price of small order will be higher than that of wholesale.

Order time:

We take orders all year round, but we only ship peonies from Sept. to next Feb. For those come in late for this year's planting, we will ship peonies to you the next planting season. We would suggest you to place your order early, because some varieties we only have limited supply, they may be sold out early, so you may modify your order or have some varieties substituted. Moreover, place your order early, you can enjoy our discount.

Payment:

Normally, we only ship the plants after we received your payment. Payment of different customers is as below:( 5000usd.etc refer to plants cost, not including freight and other fees)

Package & Shipping

Package:

Generally we have two kinds of packing methods: big package and small package. Big package means to put young plants with roots packed with wet moss into cardboard boxes and then transport. Small package means to put each young plant with roots packed with wet moss into a plastic bag first, then put plastic bags into cardboard boxes, and then transport. If you have some special requirements about the packaging, please contact us.

Our responsibility ends upon delivery to the carrier, we assume no responsibility for delay, damage, destruction or breakage after delivery has been made to carrier. All shipments travel at the risk and expense of the buyer.

Shipping:

Usually, we ship small orders by air, but for big orders, by sea would be more economically. Shipping methods fully depend on buyer’s preference.

Shipping fee:

Differ with different shipping methods the customers preferred. Enclosed is the shipping fees involved by sea, air and others. Note: The price listed below is just for your reference.

Phytosanitary certificate fee:

All shipments are accompanied with phytosanitary certificate, and retailers should pay for it. Phytosanitary certificate fee for each species is about 25USD.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee our plants to be true to name and to grow the first year. If the varieties you order from us are not true to names, we would either replace the plants free of charge or refund purchase price. If they fail to grow the first year, we will replace them the next planting season. We expect that you will plant them promptly in an appropriate site as instructed. Your plants are guaranteed to be of the very best quality available but once they arrive at your place we can’t control how you look after them so we are not responsible for any plants you loose after delivery.

Claims

You shall inspect the plants immediately upon receipt and notify we of any claim against us arising out of or in connection with, like an order arrives damaged or in questionable condition, also any order within 7 days of receipt of the goods. We do not guarantee plants to live after accepted in good condition. Total liability shall be limited to replacement or refund of purchase price. We cannot be responsible for plant loss due to weather conditions or cultural practices beyond our control.

Others

We sincerely invite you to inspect our production site during peony blooming period, especially varieties purity. The best time for tree peonies is April 20th—May 8th, and May 10th—30th for herbaceous peonies. If you want to visit our nursery and ordering, please inform us before you start off. Then we can specially arrange our staff to pick you up at the airport and drive you to our nursery
