| ¡¡¡¡Century Peony
Nursery (CPN), established in 2002, is specialized in
standard production of tree peony, herbaceous peony
and flare tree peony. We mainly provide three-year old
divisions, two-year old graftings and original plants
with different sizes for wholesalers and retailers at
domestic and international market. Our plants are fit
for cultivated in gardens and grown as potted plants. |

¡¡¡¡Famous peony cultivating
expert Zhao Xiaoqing (born from a peony family) and
professor Cheng Fangyun from Beijing Forestry University
are not only our shareholders, but also our technical
elites. Mr. Zhao is in charge of our nursery¡¯s cultivation
and management, and breeding of new tree peony and herbaceous
peony varieties. Professor Cheng is responsible for
technical work of the nursery¡¯s standard production
and breeding of new varieties. |
¡¡¡¡Joined with
scientific and technical personnels from Beijing Forestry
University and Beijing Botanical Garden, CPN has established
its own standard production technical system and new
variety breeding system, which guarantee CPN to release
top quality standard young plants into the market continuously.
¡¡¡¡At present CPN owns 19 hectare tree peony and 8 hectare
herbaceous peony which are grown separately according
to different variety. In 2005 we can provide 10000-15000
three-year old original plants of 4 tree peony varieties
and 1 herbaceous peony variety; 5000-10000 three-year
old original plants of one tree peony variety and two
herbaceous peony varieties; 1000-5000 three-year old
original plants of 14 tree peony varieties and 21 herbaceous
peony varieties (each three-year old original plant
can be divided into 2-3 standard divisions of different
sizes according to customers¡¯ requirements).
¡¡¡¡ The 4 self-breeding tree peony varieties fit for
USDA Plant Hardness Zone 9b-10a ( they grow well in
fields with annual rainfall 1200-1600mm and highest
temperature 35-40¡æ) will be released into the market
in large quantity in 2005. Please contact us for detailed

the same time, CPN also collects 246 tree peony varieties,
153 herbaceous peony varieties, 40 flare tree peony

which can be produced in large quantity according to
customers¡¯ order.
